Hot & Cold Fomentation

Alternate applications of hot and cold compresses cause contraction and dilation of blood vessels and help relieve congestion and toxins from the tissues. This treatment is given for relieving acute pain in various parts of the body.

Uses:  Asthma and muscular pain.


Steam Bath

The steam bath is a specially designed wooden or fiber chamber. The patient sits inside the chamber and steam is circulated. Sweating initiated by steam bath helps in elimination of toxins from the body.

Precautions: Drink a glass of water, keep a cold wet towel over the head,

Duration: 10 to 15 minutes.

Uses: Excellent for detoxification, skin diseases, Arthritis, Obesity, Diabetes etc.



An enema is a procedure of introducing liquids into the rectum and colon via the anus. Simple water enema is used for cleansing the bowel. Lukewarm water, saline water (0. 9%) is used for cleansing impacted fecal matter. Routinely enema is given for all new patients for one to three days. There after depending upon requirement alternate day or twice a week enema is given. Neem decoction is also used in certain clinical conditions.

Uses: It helps to remove fecal matter and toxins from the colon. It is useful in constipation, indigestion, acidity, and digestive disorders.



Physiotherapy is a specialized branch of medicine that assesses, diagnoses, treats, and works to prevent disease and disability through physical means by assisting individuals to overcome movement disorders, which may have been present from birth, acquired through accident or injury, or are the result of aging or life-changing events. Various physical agents including exercise, mobilization, manipulation, exercise, and electrotherapy are used to treat a diverse group of disorders.


Sun Bath

Sun is a source of energy, exposure of the body to sun rays has a rejuvenating effect. It is also important for the synthesis of vitamin D in our body through the skin.

It is the process where the body is exposed to the sun between 7 AM – 8 PM for a specific duration of time. It is also a natural way of fomentation in painful conditions of muscles, joints and in chronic Bronchitis and Asthma.

Fasting Therapy

Fasting is the supreme cure in Ayurveda & Naturopathy. Therapeutic fasting in which specific juices/soups are given as per disease condition. It helps in the elimination of the toxins by giving rest to the digestive system and enhancing the healing properties within our system.
